Supervision and monitoring of construction work at all stages of construction, identification of risks and/or delays with the preventive criteria of the building in Mérida, Yucatán
The building is located on 24th Street between 25th and 27th, in the Montebello neighborhood of the city of Merida, Yucatan. The building is located in an area with buildings of the same class and in its surroundings with a commercial area of great impact for the city. It is made up of a ground floor where the parking lot is located, 4 levels with 20 apartments and a Roof Garden.
Due to the type of rocky and superficial soil that characterizes the state of Yucatan, a set of isolated footings was used for the foundation. The property has an approximate area of 1,094.00 m2.
The construction system of the slabs was with prefabricated joists and polystyrene vaults, this system is characteristic of the area.
The design of the main façade interacted with different volumes and shapes. These volumes housed the different premises of the building, optimizing the spaces.
A conventional system of square columns was used in the vertical structure. The cantilevered structures were built with reinforced concrete beams cast on site.
